When a relationship stands the test of time, it improves work efficiencies, but more importantly the strength of the connection.
For many businesses, the relationships they build become the cornerstone of business longevity. At Resolution Interiors, we are no different. We have retail clients, and supply chain partners, where conversations started 20 years ago.
When it comes to long term relationships, what are the aspects this can be attributed to?
- Communication channels are always open. You can’t live life behind an email, to understand each other better, you have to be present.
- Start with value. When a relationship begins, the value that someone receives cements the way forward. This is about trust, empathy, and understanding of the marketplace and the role that the client plays.
- Address issues together. Any business that doesn’t encounter challenges within working relationships is not being true to themselves. We all need to be honest with each other.
- Sharing knowledge means you learn together. As retail evolves or business practices change, there has to be a way to keep a client in the loop. It is how you progress in your sector.
We are all part of a business network; we cannot do it in isolation. These precious relationships deserve to be cherished, and must never be taken for granted.
