Virgin Holidays wanted to create a space where customers get that holiday feeling from the moment they walk through the doors. They were looking to create an elevated customer experience more aligned to the concept of a hotel concierge than a retail exchange. We collaborated with the appointed design studio to ensure the concept translated into the final build.
To dial up the in-store experience, this showroom is packed with entertainment and brand activation features. From an immersive pod complete with light and sound, to Virgin Atlantic Upper and Premium Economy seats and VR headsets, the customer is rewarded with a door-to-door virtual holiday.
The store includes a bar where customers can sip a drink while perusing their holiday options.
Seize the holiday
Its all about the extras, and the Liverpool flagship store is not short of these. It features a green ‘living’ wall, lounge-style seating, “Lucky Red” vending machine filled with treats and surprises and a dedicated children’s area to keep the little ones entertained.
If you head towards the back of the store, you can find a secret cinema room which gives customers the chance to get a feel for the Virgin Holidays brand while tucking into some popcorn.

We work hand in hand with Virgin Holidays’ allocated design lead, YourStudio, when it comes to the roll out of new retail spaces, in formulating a truly ‘one team’ approach. This means an entirely integrated process from design, through manufacture and fit out.
